Kitting is one of the most polarizing topics in NAPB. Most parts could be part of a kit, yet while some companies heavily rely on kitting, others reject kitting entirely. The group diverges even more when you include the concept of the virtual kit in the conversation. There is a thus a need for a session focused deeply and solely on kitting. This session will answer questions such as:   Who manages kitting in the organization?  Which part types are best to kit? Which should be avoided?  How much does dealer demand/preferences affect kitting strategy?  Do companies kit internally or have a kitting provider run this business for them?   How much do kitting and packaging overlap?
